Looking for information on Matthews Theis Kocks

Mattheis Theis Kocks. Born 1724 Neukirchen-Vluyn. I have found him listed under both names. Possible father Heindrich Kocks. No other information.

Mattheis married 9-20-1755? to Sybilla Kaehlen, Beel Kuhlen or Konlen April 7 1730?

I am interested in finding information about Mattheis, his parents and siblings.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Was Mattheis actually Catholic or Lutheran? There are some early churchbooks of Neukirchen (Vluyn) online but I could not find him in there.

Edit: I found the marriage though (protestant church book of Vluyn), which took place on October 13th, 1755.

Hi,
His marriage was in the protestant church. I looked around a little in the church books of Neukirchen and Vluyn and did not see any entries that could be Mattheis' or Sybil's birth. Since the church books are so old the writing is not that easy to read and it is easy to overlook something. The church books would have to be checked much more thoroughly than I did today.

The marriage entry is very, very short:

13th Oct. [1755]
Mattheis Cochs (Cocks ?) with Beel Kuhlen.
