Thanks to the detail which picked up a variation in age of 5 years, 1889 compared to actual of 1884, for WW1 Service Record of Charles Barwell I did some more investigation. I noticed the Soldier Number didn’t match, I have Charles's, my Grandfather, medals. When I checked the Charles Barwell with a service record was a miner front Newcastle upon Tyne. My Grandfather was a Plasterer living in Sheffield at the outbreak of WW1. Good pick up, thank-you.
