It says Calogero Torruggia was legitimized as child of Vincenzo Torruggia and Maria Giovanna Bonaffini by their marriage on 8 Jan 1885 in Pietraperzia, record #4.

Note that this is in the era when church marriages were not effective for legal purposes. So they may have married in the church but not in a civil ceremony so under the law they were not married and any children born of the relationship were illegitimate until they had a civil marriage.
