Around the first half of January of 2024, a lot of indexed records (millions!) have disappeared from various Ukrainian collections of metrical books. For example, before the disappearance, the amount of birth records for the Kyiv area for 1905-1906 was around 66,000 and then dropped to 10,000. 3 months later, it is at 11,000. And this has affected the years 1820-1919, roughly speaking.
Can anyone advise on this
