New Features and Improvement Feedback Needed
Hello, Source Linker community!
My name is Erik and I'm a designer on the product team working on the new Source Linker experience. We are grateful for all of the feedback you have been providing the team over the last few months. Your involvement is so crucial to creating the best experiences we can offer at FamilySearch. We encourage you to continue using the new Source Linker and provide your feedback as we continue to improve the tool.
In response to the feedback we receive about the new Source Linker experience, we will be working on several ideas that we hope will provide solutions to many of the issues you've reported. We'd like to continue to gather your impressions and feedback on these new features before our engineers begin to code them and make them live. This will help us to learn early if certain ideas will work or not, thus helping us to provide updates and fixes at a quicker pace. Most of these ideas will be posted as images of these features that we'd like your feedback on. Some will include (non-live) clickable prototypes that you can use as a sandbox to gauge how a feature might work. Our hope is that we can test out some of these ideas with the community to see if they actually solve the problems that may hamper our users.
In order to provide feedback on these new feature ideas, look for discussion posts that will be titled "💡New Feature Idea". Just like any other post, you can leave a comment which our team will be able to engage with.
Again, we thank you for spending the time to provide your feedback and helping us to make the new Source Linker experience better every day.
