Bad Dürkheim 1835++
GSD3-65B Franziscus Hitzner born 03-Feb-1835 Weisenheim am Sand.
Are there records that might confirm if this person was still in Germany after 1855 or that he left between 1850 and 1855?
I think this person maybe moved to Canada via USA, but details do not exactly match.

There appears to be baptism, marriage and burial catholic church records for Weisenheim am Sand in the Salt Lake City family center for 1804 to 1944:

If Franziscus stayed in Weisenheim then it you might find his marriage, death and children's baptism records there. Unfortunately, the records are not indexed and only viewable in person in SLC.
Edit to add:
Have you been able to get an actual copy of the Francis Hitzner September 19, 1859 marriage record in Whitby, Durham, Ontario, Canada? I can only find indexed records (which you probably have seen) ID his parents as William Hitzner and Mary Aforsperager. I suspect you are on the right track and that the indexer (or scribe) has messed up his mother's surname.

@JohnsonGreg Thanks for the suggestion regarding church records; these scans were online at FamilySearch in 2019 when I attached the source to Franziscus; they may come back if licensing issues can be resolved. I looked at these records but gave up easily. Even if a thorough search is done and nothing is found; there is still a possibility that Franziscus married and/or died in another place within Germany. I am hoping there might be some other document indicating he left this place.
The 1859 Whitby marriage (with scan) is attached to 9C9Z-SRQ and states groom was born "Dencam (Germany)" which does not exist; but I thought this was close to "Bad Dürkheim". Less confident about "Aforsperager" vs "Habersperger" for mother's name. The 1901 Canada Census records his birth as 2 Feb 1836 which off by one year and one day from birth/baptism record found in Germany. 1901 Census also says he immigrated in 1855. His obituary states he travelled (age 18) from Germany to Buffalo, USA; stayed there one year then moved to Ontario where he was married in 1859. I think this means he left Germany in 1854.
