This is actually not a new behavior, but it was definitely one that I was hoping would be fixed by the new Linker -- but it hasn't been.

Depending on the structure of the index, I often can only add the date of a vital event, not the place.

No, I don't want to add the place as a custom event, down in the boonies somewhere on the profile. That's utterly pointless: the new sorry excuse for a person summary card doesn't even show the burial, never mind a "death registration". And besides, the place of death is clearly spelled out on the document; the fact that it wasn't indexed is not a reason for Source Linker to prohibit its entry.
