Translation of Kurrent Handwriting
I would like to understand how to read the old German handwriting. I found some records written in the Kurrent written form from the Matricule Online website that does not make sense. The name I need help with is George Mager at the bottom.

The last part of the note under the paternal columns looks to me like it might be:
eine einwilligung zur eintragung des vat(ers). namen nicht gegeben.
Permission was not given to enter the father's name.
A similar statement is given for the record 2 rows above. The Fathers last name was probably added at the same time as the note "subsequently legitimized by marriage"
