Difficulty finding information in cremona before 1868
Greetings to everyone in the group, I am having great difficulty finding information about my great-great-great-grandfather, I have information that he died before 1868 (children's marriage document) and was married twice, with the two children to whom I have information, one was born in Ossolaro (my great-great-grandfather) and the other in Cavatigozzi, both from the same mother, from what I was able to gather information, it is very likely that he died in Casalbuttano ed Uniti, where many of his grandchildren were born and lived and where his last wife died. I've already carried out research but haven't been able to find much information about it, I imagine it's due to the lack of historical documents before 1866 on the Portale Antenati. The information I have about the cities where the children were born was obtained from marriage and death certificates.
What would you recommend?
Where to go?
Any information on when they will finish posting all the Cremona documents?

Cremona is in Lombardia, which did not have civil records between 1815 and 1866 since it was under Austrian rule. You will have to research church records, but they are not online except for the Ospedale Maggiore di Cremona records that are included in Antenati. And of course there are Napoleonic era records for Cremona also in Antenati.
Antenati will not be publishing the records from the Austrian rule period because they are not held by the state archives; they are held by the local churches or diocesan archives.
