Where to find records

Deniese Drake

I am looking for birth records from 1866-1872 in Wohle, Lower Saxony. In matricula.eu the records in Wohle do not cover the time range needed. Should I be looking in a different parish? Or someplace else entirely? TIA, Deniese Drake

Wöhle is listed on the last page. The name of this parish is St. Cosmas u. Damian. The introductory paragraphs of this document state that baptismal records up to 1886/7 are viewable by the public, but apparently the records you are interested in (1866-1872) have not been placed online. You would need to contact the archival staff to see if they can assist you.
