Gus,
I have just found the more correct place of birth of Josephine Rygiel - there is a current community near Strzepcz called Łebieńska Huta, and I attach the scan from pilot.pl or mapa.szukacz.pl please correct my previous suggestion. It is still near Strzepcz.
As to the birth record of Augustin Dering, he was born in Zemblau currently named Zęblewo. The parish for Protestant people was in Smasin or currently Smażyno. It is not too far from Strzepcz. I also noticed that there is a family tree of Franz Dering or Doering and Josephine Plotka in MyHeritage or Familysearch.org. There are also several children of this couple listed in ptg.gda.pl I provide the scan. Enjoy your research.

Thank you so very much. I can read Łebieńska Huta now that you've spelled it out and I see it on the map. Thank you for validating Zemblau also. I have other records stating this location, I just didn't trust my interpretation of the word.
Also, thank you for sharing the sites and tools. I'm using them all and they have been extremely helpful. Geneszukacz.genealodzy.pl is new to me and looks very useful, I'll keep an eye on it to see if Strzepcz records are indexed over time.
Lastly, thank you for connecting me with Stanley Frymark! The record images he has helped me gain access to, such as the ones I attached here, is what has allowed me to pursue the specific locations and further my research. Previously I was stuck at the parish level of Strzepcz, now I can go much further and also start researching the other names/information in the records.
Thank you!
Gus

Gus,
Thank you for giving me a positive feedback. I am glad Stanley Frymark was able to help you, and that other comments I made were useful. Please also search metryki.genbaza.pl which has many records from the area. Familysearch.org has a number of records for Strzepcz. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Hi, I am using metryki.genbaza.pl, it has been very helpful.
I just found Josephina Plotka's birth record #30 in the middle of the picture. Can you translate it, to include the heading which I believe will be the location?
Thank you!
Gus

Baptismal Record No. 30, Strzepcz (?) Parish, of Josephina (Jozefina in Polish) Plotka, born in Niepoczolowice on the 13th March 1827 year, baptized on the 18th March 1827 (?) year, daughter of Josephus (Jozef in Polish) Plotka and Eva (Ewa in Polish) Andriskowska (similar pronunciation as Andruskowska, or Andryskowska). Godparents: Martinus (Marcin in Polish) Juskowski and Christina (Krystyna in Polish) Marcinska.
Gus, please check this entry in metryki.genbaza.pl to find the year which is not shown on the page you have sent me. Please note that in ptg.gda.pl there is a baptism indexed from Sierakowice Parish, dated 1832, baptismal record No. 50, of Albrecht Plotka, son of Joseph Plotka and Eva Andryskowska (variation of Andriskowska). But according to ptg.gda.pl Josephina was born year 1827 in Parish Strzepcz. I attach the scan of her siblings baptismal records in ptg.gda.pl

Oh this is WONDERFUL, thank you! I searched for variations of Andriskowska but wasn't getting any results. I will definitely research the Plotka family in Sierakowice. Knowing Josephina's location of Niepoczolowice, and before that her family's location of Sierakowice is a huge help. This all lines up as Niepoczolowice is close to Tluczau where Franz Dering, her future husband, lived. Once married they moved to Zemblau/Zeblewo, where my 2nd great grandfather August Dering was born and departed for America at age 18.
On my first visit to Strzepcz last summer I became friends with a priest in the area who spoke english, but I didn't know enough to enable him to help me locate living relatives. I can't wait to go back to see him and visit these locations more carefully and hopefully meet some of the residents.
Thank you so much!

Gus,
You may be interested in using site herby.com.pl/indexslo.html - index of surnames from Polish Social Security in 1998, before it was stopped due to privacy restrictions, but by then it was in USA. To search for surnames spelling and occurrence throughout Poland, you may enter surname without completing it, use ? for one missing letter, and * for several missing letters. As you can see from attached scan, there are a number of Andryskowski in Gd or Gdansk area (150 residents with this surname), also Andriskowski (26 residents in Gd) . The variation may be due to interpretation of an recorder, what he heard, and then the spelling was continued.
.I also attach the contact information for Strzepcz Parish. Please be brief, asking questions, to make it easier for the priest speaking some English.
