Marriage Record No. 4, Ostrowas, dated the 3rd February 1828, of Jozef Ircha, 27 years old, a bachelor, serving as a laborer in Dominium Osiedlowo, Parish Ostrowas, he was born in Slabecin, son of Klemens and Maryanna, married couple Ircha, living on a farm in Liszewo (?), and of Elzbieta Maciejeszczonka (daughter of Maciejeski), a maiden, 24 years old, working as a servant in Dominium Gora, Ostrowas Parish, daughter of Benedykt and Agnieszka, married couple Maciejeski living as tenant farmers in Gmina Gora. Oral permission of parents of the groom and bride was granted. No impediment detected. No prenuptial agreement entered into. Witnesses: Piotr Jedraszek, 40 years old, and Antoni Kostrzewa, 37 years old, both farmers living in Gmina Gora.
If you check: http://herby.com.pl/indexslo.html for surnames in Poland, year 1998, you will find that at that time there were no persons with Irch surname, and there were 261 persons with surname Ircha.

Translating your most recent record, I realized that the recorder in those marriage records of Jozef Ircha wrote what seemed like Ostrowąs, and there is such a
Parish in kujawsko-pomorskie region, but actually the Parish name was Ostrowąż, in wielkopolskie region, near Konin. Could you please correct it in the above marriage record? I also attach the indexed copy of this marriage from Poznan project.

Thank you again. I didn't realize that there was a village in K-P with a similar name. Many of the records that I have found have come from the same location and site:
(The reference number 122 contains no scans, but the reference number 793 does contain scans. I am using this screen shot only as an example.) I have been using Ostrowąż as the parish (in Wielkopolskie) that is mentioned.
