Marriage Record No. 26, Latowicz Parish, dated the 30th January 1865, of Jan Nidek, a young man from Latowicz, living with his parents, born in Latowicz, son of Franciszek Nidek and of Katarzyna, born Kiszelska, by her first marriage Slusarczyk, town dwellers from Latowicz, he is 18 years old, and of a maiden, Maryjanna (or Marianna) Walewska, daughter of Jan and Magdalena, born Ozimek, married couple Walewski, town dwellers from Latowicz, she was born in Latowicz and has lived there with her parents, she is 17 years old. This marriage was preceded by three Marriage Banns published in the local Church Parish. The oral permission of present parents of the groom and the bride was granted. The dispensation by Warsaw Archdiocese was issued before the 21st January this year, No. 213, due to the 3rd and 4th degree of kinship. No prenuptial agreement entered into. David, please keep in mind, that there were no written or printed IDs till after about 1900’s, and the recorder wrote what he heard, and you have written name of groom as Nidek, and his signature as Niedek.
