Looking GG Grandparents

Hello Everyone! I have hit a roadblock. I am looking for the parents of Maryanna Syslo (Cislo, Sysla, Maria, Mary, Marianna). She is Catholic.

Her Id is GZS2-88C

Born in Poland on 7/2/1883 according to family documents. Possibly 1880-1882

Settled: Cook County, Cicero IL

Date of immigration 1895-1898. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:DD4G-HVZM

She traveled back home under her married name in 1905 and listed Nowy Borek as her residence. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JFHZ-9ZJ

According to county and church documents, spouse's name: Walenty Mazur, but they met and married in the US.

According to family records she had 3 siblings, Michael Syslo, Katherine Syslo (married name Popiela), and an unknown sister.

Arianna, it is a challenging question to search for your ancestors, as

1.   their names and surnames are popular,

2.   the dates of their births may not be exact,

3.   their places of birth are not definite,

4.   and many of the parish records in podkarpackie region have not been yet indexed.  

You have stated that Maryanna Syslo (Cislo, Sysla, Maria, Mary, Marianna), married name Mazur, is a Catholic, born in Poland 7/2/1883 (July 2nd 1883), possibly 1880-1882, immigrated 1895-1898.  She went to Nowy Borek in Poland, under Austrian rule, after she married Walenty Mazur, and came back to USA in year 1905. 

Please consider: Nowy Borek village belonged to Borek Stary Parish, and its complete indexed birth, marriage, and death records are in Geneteka.genealodzy.pl – podkarpackie – Borek Stary, but there is no birth record of Marianna Cisło born 1880-1884 (Sysla, Syslo, or Cieśla are less likely), or of Walenty Mazur born year 1874-1875 in Nowy Borek.  Other possible places of birth of Maryanna Cisło, are Książnice, near Mielec, but it is about 80 miles (120 km) distance from Nowy Borek, or Krasne village, place of origin of Marianna Cisło, acc. to her immigration in 1898 (her age was misread as 28 years, it looks more like 18 years old), 10 kilometers, or 6.6 miles from Nowy Borek. You may use Geneteka to search all locations in podkarpackie region.

You may check the locations of those places using pilot.pl or mapa.szukacz.pl, X the advertisements, all Hs are hotel advertisements, and you may click on “Ukryj” next to Hotele, to eliminate them. You may measure the distances between those places mentioned in this record, by entering the name of the town/village in the top box above Hotele, and then clicking on that place on the map, then moving the mouse without pressing on it to another place.  You will see the distance in kilometers in the right lower corner of the map, in a red box. Divide this number into 3 and multiply by 2 to get the distance in miles.
