Marriage Record No. 10, Skulsk Parish, dated the 15th July 1861, of Wawrzyniec Kaminski, 21 years old, a bachelor, born and living in village Piaski, a laborer, son of Andrzej and Rozalia, born Malska (Wolska acc. to Poznan Project), married couple Kaminski, already deceased, and of a maiden, Rozalia Gielezinska, 24 years old, born in town Slesin, working and living in Skulsk, daughter of Jan and Lucja, born Boinska, married couple Gielezinski, already deceased. Witnesses: Andrzej Wisniewski, 42 years old, a carpenter, and Ignacy Kaminski, 35 years old, a blacksmith, both living in town Skulsk.
Please keep in mind that that without written or printed IDs, the recorder wrote what he heard, and there are variations in interpretations.

Does the notation that you wrote pertain to this record, or to the marriage of Andrzej and Rozalia? If it applies to this record, can you tell me how you knew that there were no IDs? I don't see that information within the translation.

I wanted you to be tolerant that since there were no written IDs till past 1900, recorders wrote what they heard or what they perceived as their interpretation. We are grateful for their work and efforts. Comparing later or earlier records we can decide what is the closest interpretation, and we may also add "also known as." In this case the madien name of Wawrzyniec Kaminski's mother is interpreted as Molska and as Wolska. I was referring to this example.
