Birth Record No. 89, Zgierz, Evangelical Parish, of Hugo Ziegler, born in Zgierz on the 29th February 1888 (not 1889, please look at the date on margin), christened on the 18th March 1888, son of Adolf Ziegler, a local clothier, 47 years old, and of his wife, Wilhelmina, born Herbrich, 38 years old. Witnesses: Karl Schultz, a local rope maker, 61 years old, and Wilhelm Ziegler, a local clothier, 23 years old. Godparents: the above-mentioned witnesses and Berta Wundke.
