Translation of Village information from Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland
I found the village of Nowen, Kr. Wongrowitz in the Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland and Other Slavic Countries, Vol. VII, p. 214. It is written in Polish and includes numerous abbreviations. Although these are available at the beginning of Vol. I, they don't solve my Polish language probIem. I'd be enormously grateful if someone familiar with this Geographical Dictionary could help me decipher the details of this entry. My ancestral family lived in this place. Many thanks.

Thanks so much. That all makes sense given what I know from other sources---though I'll try to find out more about the "conscripted" numbers. Conscripted by whom for what, I wonder. In any case, I'm grateful for your help.

One morg = land measure equal to 55 ares = 6578 sq. yards
Ślady – it currently translates as traces, track, trail, remnant, it is not clear what it meant over 100 years ago, as there are no other meanings according to The Kosciuszko Foundation, Polish-English Dictionary.
