Thank you for the message. On the Antenati portal I have seen the birth record for Umberto Mario Sciscio, Cisterna Di Roma 1915. https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua200619/wrQrDZO Am requesting full translation.

Have learnt his parents are Luigi Sciscio and Esarina De Marchis. He married Ada Vitali in 1954. Have done a name search for Sciscio, Vitali and De Marchis. How could we try trace records for Umberto and Ada Vitali's parents?

For Ada Vitali, since she was born after 1916, her birth record would not be available online. More recent records might possibly be consultable in-person at the Archivio di Stato di Latina, but you would need to contact them to be certain.

Before me, mayor of Cisterna di Roma, appeared Corinna Emma Giannesi, age 46, midwife, resident in Cisterna, who declared that 10:00 on 6 May 1915, in the house at Via Giordano Bruno 30, from Esarina De Marchis, housewife, wife of Luigi Scisciò, farmer, both resident in Cisterna, was born a male child whom they named Umberto Mario ... Witnesses Oreste Missori, age 66, clerk, and Vito Gabrieli, age 34, courier, both resident in Cisterna ... The aforementioned declared the birth since she assisted in the delivery, the husband could not be present to make the declaration because he is away from home (possibly overseas, the terminology is ambiguous).
