Would you kindly check this blurry record for me. Thank you!
Hello Maria,
I found the marriage record of Marianna Markwart, widow of Pawel Reese, and her second husband. I took a screen shop of the record, but the print is too blurry to read. Could you tell me if I got the correct record? I am hoping to at least confirm that she was indeed the widow of Pawel and know were was she residing at the time of her second marriage marriage. The parish is Sierpc. Any additional information would be great. Much appreciated. Thank you!!

This marriage record is not of Marianna Markwart, widow of Pawel Reese.
It is as follows:
Marriage Record No. 29, Sierpc, Evangelical Parish, dated the 4th September 1870, of Joseph Bifot, a bachelor, laborer from village Miłobędzyn, 22 years old, son of Michael Bifot and of his wife, Eva, born Levin, and of Emilia Marianna Greber (could be Hreber in German), a maiden from village Wluki Piaski, there born, 18 years old, daughter of Fridrich Greber and of his wife, Christina, born Wankowska. This marriage was preceded by three marriage banns.

Please check in MyHeritage for Marianna Reize, born Markwart, but they do not have dates about her or her husband. Please let me know the date Pawel Reize died, and I will see if there is in Sierpc index another marriage of Marianna Markwart, but there is no information of her second husband in MyHeritage, only her son Henryk Reize vel Rajza, born 1806, died 1864. You may check it for free, without subscription, in your neighborhood family search center.

Hi Maria,
Oops! No wonder I got it all wrong. Her second marriage was in Sierpc but in January 1860, a year not included in the current Sierpc marriage index. I don't know when her first husband died. Thank you for the information on her son.
Many thanks Maria!!

Hi,
There is a marriage in the poznan project of a Jakub Reze, son of Pawel Reze and Marianna Markwart, 1845 at Babiak. It says that the father of Jakub is dead. I wonder whether that is the same family.
Regards, Christine

Hello Christine,
I would assume they are the same family. Nevertheless, the additional information found in the marriage record would be needed to confirm they are indeed the same family.
Thank you for bringing this information to my attention and making me aware of the Poznan Project resource. Much appreciated!!

Hello Christine,
Have you tried to look for surname Markwart in geneszukacz.genealodzy.pl There are many of them listed, also Marianna Markwart. Lodz region could be also considered and other areas near wielkopolskie where your ancestors lived.

Hi Maria,
Thank you very much for your answer!!
I don't have that family in my own tree. I was wondering though whether the Marianna Markwart, widow of Paul Reese, that @Ell8693 is looking for can really be the same person as the mother of Henryk Reize vel Rajza, born 1806, and Jakub Reze, who got married in Babiak in 1845.
If Marianna Markwart's husband Pawel Reese died before 1845 then it would be very late for Marianna to remarry in 1860? Also she would have been at least 70 years old by that time?
Kind regards, Christine
