Ordinances Ready QR code
I haven't been able to find it, but does the church have an official QR code that members can scan to take them directly to Ordinances Ready? I'm thinking of putting a qr code in the ward program that directs them not just to the Family Tree Mobile App, but directly to Ordinances Ready.
I know they can be created, but typically it's through third party tracking sites, so I wanted to know if the church had one already generated that could be used to direct to the site
That way, members, and especially of younger generations, could scan the code that's listed on the program with their phone before church starts, and get some of their ancestors they can take for their next temple trip.
I've struggled for a long time to find a way to get people motivated to do Family History Work. Ordinances ready is the way, I believe, because instead of using temple names, it pulls from relatives they don't know they had, and it makes their temple experience more meaningful. Motivation like that stays with you.
And I would love if the church had an official QR code that we could be put in programs, so the people can get the motivation they need to do Family History work. And the church could track the qr code themselves instead of a third party.
By the way, the link to ordinances ready they have in the temple scheduling system is fantastic.

If you go to the Family Tree app on your phone, the “Ordinances Ready” link is at the bottoms of the screen after choosing the “temple icon”. Nothing could be easier.

@michaeldeanballard1 No, the Church has not published a QR code for Ordinances Ready. You could suggest it, though. Here in Community, click Suggest an Idea at the top and submit your idea.

It’s so easy! Please view this link for all the tips and tricks, we tried it out tonight and it took less than 1 minute at the Phoenix Temple, which has dedicated staff in its Records room to assist you.
On Step 4 & 5, don’t forget you can share your cards and QR codes with Friends and family by “sharing” them via text or email
