No 4. Franz Gerhard and Johannette Samas
In the year of Christ 1850, on 4 August, were married in the local parish church and blessed in marriage - after the Grand Ducal Government Commission had certified that with regard to the civil circumstances and the military service obligation, and after the Grand Ducal District Court had certified that with regard to the private law circumstances no obstacle stood in the way of the consummation of the marriage, with observance of the canonical requirements, but without previous proclamation, because the bride was in a state of pregnancy - :
Franz Gerhard, legitimate unmarried son of the the deceased former local citizen and day laborer Caspar Gerhard and Anna née Geibel, aged 25 years, 1 month and 15 days, new local citizen here and
Johannette, legitimate unmarried daughter of the local citizen and carpenter Adam Samas of Dorfg__? in the district of Friedberg and Christina née Spengeler, aged 23 years, 1 month and 15 days.
Witnesses were: 1. Michael Gage, local citizen and day laborer here and 2. Johannes Schmidt, local citizen and church servant here, who signed the present protocol together with me, the priest, who performed the ceremony.
