Johannes Kranck (if the last name was read correctly) married Anna Catharina , daughter of Johann Michael Dauben? on November 25,1751. I would suggest looking for children of this couple. The last name might be easier to read on the baptismal records especially if a different clergyman wrote. A lot of the German records are indexed incorrectly, and I don't think Daubensteim is correct.

Johannes Kranck is the son of Johannes Kranck, Schultheiss (mayor) at Haselberg. Anna Catharina is the daughter of the deceased Johann Michael Daubenschmidt (possibly Deubenschmidt?), but I can't make out the time that h was from.

I did notice that they had a child born 1 Feb 1752, before Adam and Catharina's marriage 25 Nov 1752. The last part of this marriage record might have to do with someones translation of a "superintent" office?
Thanks . Sue
This is the baptism of their daughter Elizabeth. Can anyone decipher it?

Here's the translation -
1 February in the evening h[ora] 6, a daughter was born to Johannes Kranck, citizen of Bestenheit, ex praematuro concubiti cum uxor, Anna Catharina, and baptized the next day with the name Elisabetha Catharina. Godmother was Elisabetha Catharina, Michael Daubenschmidt's wife.
I think the Latin means he had relations with his wife before marriage.

Thank you so much, this is validated with the marriage record of Johann and Anna Catharina in November of 1752 nine months later. THANKS Sue
