Comments: Hüffe is a landed estate near Alswede (https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10855061). The last sentence does not belong to the record. It is a concluding remark for the register.

Thank you for clarifying what "NB" stands for -- I've been wondering as it is used a lot. So it says that the bridegroom and bride are from Lashorst having nothing of their own. What does that mean -- perhaps that they had no farm or land. And then the next part says that they bothwere working at the Huffe?
Also what does the NB vide Baptizator mean?
I like to know about these cousins and their lives:)
Thank you - Jenny

Hello Jenny,
I agree with your interpretation: both are from Lashorst, don't own a farm or land, and are working/living at the estate of Hüffe.
"NB vide Baptizator ": literally the translation is "Note: see the baptist". I am not sure about the meaning; maybe see the baptism record? But why in this context? Maybe they have had a child before marriage?

So much appreciated! Jenny
