Hello @TrishAndersen,
Translation of the first record:
Greif(f)enstein, on the 3rd of January 1766 Johannes Neuhard, legitimate surviving son of the late Wilhelm Neuhard, with Clara Maria, legitimate daughter of Johann Becker here, were married after three previous proclamations.
Translation of the second record:
Greif(f)enstein, on the 3rd of January 1765 Johann Georg Schöndorff, legitimate son of Johann Georg Schöndorff, citizen here, with Anna Catharina, legitimate daughter of Henrich Luhman here, were married after three previous proclamations.

thank you for responding to my request this evening. 'a legitmate surviving son' surprised me. Several of the baptism records have the word "died" written after the record but no year reference to death. One of the helpers indicated it might mean the infant died shortly after baptism. If so no b/c to be done. Would there have been a recorded death made? This is so heartbreaking that babies did not survive.

You're welcome, Trish. I don't understand what you mean by "If so no b/c to be done."
