Please Help with 1753 Baptism
Another Johann Abraham Knecht was baptized 21 Apr 1753 [FHL Film # 176232; image 130 of 348 - LE310/248/08]. He might be a distant cousin. Can someone please finish transcribing (and correct as necessary) and then translate? Here is what I think it says:
#26 Oben zu Widdert. Joh. Clemens Knecht.
Eodem _____Johann Clemens Knecht & Anna Philippina Tesche zu Oben zu Widdert _____ _____ nat. 11 _____ hora ___ pomer._____ Wilhelm Tesche _____ Kecklen, Abraham Knecht zu Widdert, Anna Christina Tesche _____ Hilberts in Solingen & Anna Catharina Bell _____ Knecht ___ Blathoff. Nom: Johann Abraham.

Translation:
#26 Oberste Widdert. Joh. Clemens Knecht.
On the same day [21 April 1753] let Johann Clemens Knecht & Anna Philippina Tesche at Oberste Widdert baptize a son born 11th of the same month at 1 p.m. Witnesses [were] Wilhelm Tesche on the Kecklen, Abraham Knecht at Oberste Widdert, Anna Christina Tesche "called" Hilberts in Solingen & Anna Catharina Bell "called" Knecht at Blatzhoff. Name: Johann Abraham.
Comment: "modo" means that these persons changed their name according to the farm they married into.

Very interesting. Does that mean "modo" is sort of the opposite of "neé" or "born". I know Anna Catharina Bell married Wilhelm Knecht in 1752. Should I look for an Anna Christina Tesche who married a "Hilberts"?
I could not find "Kecklen" in Meyers or in Wikipedia.de. I tried several variations without success. Any suggestions?
I could not find "Blatzhoff" in Meyers or in Wikipedia.de. Could it be another word? It sure looks correct, but it's new to me.

Hello Gary,
I know about the practice of farm names or "Hofnamen" mainly in the area of Westphalia (see also https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Germany_Personal_Names#Hofnamen_.28Farm_Names.29). Often it were the men who married into a farm and took on the name as surname. In this case it may well be that the "modo" name is the married name of the women, i.e., the surname of their husbands.
Blatzhoff and Kecklen (maybe Kuhlen) are probably names of small places/streets. I found a "Platzhofstrasse" in Solingen in Google Maps:https://www.google.com/maps/place/Platzhofstra%C3%9Fe,+42657+Solingen/@51.1523618,7.0703872,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x47b8d4be50d1b45f:0x5b6f12b4e1a776fa!8m2!3d51.1523618!4d7.0729621!16s%2Fg%2F1tvrytl2
