translation help with Hannover record
The record in question is the second one on the right side page for Gerardus Henricus Kalmer. I understand if this may be too difficult to read. Here is what I think it says:
- child is Gerardus Henricus Kalmer born 25 Sep 1845 and baptized on 29 Sep 1845
- Parents are Joan Bern. Kalmer and Maria Angela Dirkes
- The godparents are Herm. Henri. Kalmer and Anna Cathar. Dirkes
- Can you make out anything that is being said both after the parents and after the godparents? It's pretty blurry... all I can make out is the name of the town Meppen
THANKS

I read the birth date as September 28.
There are a lot of name abbreviations in this record. I am expanding them.
I think the father is Joannes Bernard Kalmer and Maria Angela Dirkes in Kortenhauer at Clusort (I think Kortenhauer is an address and Clusort is really Klusorth, which is nearby. Go to the map tab on meyers).
Herm. Henrie Kalmer is a servant from Meppen, which is 8 miles away from Bawinkel. The two words before Meppen I can't figure out, but it may be an address. Anna Catharina Dirkes, the landowner's wife at Bramsche (If you look on the map, there is a Bramhaar and a Bramhar nearby.)

The word before Meppen is Kirchspiel, so the word before that is a place within the parish of Meppen. The first word looks like Undel or perhaps Vedel?
