Where is Komarov, Czechoslovakia? How do I used the Czech archives?
Could someone please provide direction?
I am researching my relative Terezie Hruby nee Krabec. She was born in Komarov, Czechoslovakia, 10 August 1865. She was married to John Hruby in Nova Hut, Czechoslovakia 27 September 1886. Here is her Declaration of Intention, from the Illinois, Federal Naturalization Records, 1856-1991.
I know family came from Nova Hut, and I was able to locate the place on Mapire, and Komarov as well, also known as Komerau, but, when I go to the link genteam.au provides, I don't know what I am looking at, or how to search it. I want to extend her family tree, and confirm the location.

Hi! Hopefully we can help direct you with your problem.
First let me tell you what I do to use genteam which is great to use with your research and I use it constantly.
You must register for the site. It is free. Once you are registered and have a user name and password you log in and click on gazetteer. In the search box you can start typing in your town and it shows you possibilities as you are typing. Once you find the entry for the town you want you can click the page icon on the left side and it will provide more info including a link to the archives.
Now for the problem. Do you have any details about which Komarov it is, for when I find it in the gazetteer there are three pages for that town? You state the marriage is in Nova Hut but there are two of those. Can you pick out the right one for me from this info from Genteam?

Let us know if you know more detail about the location and when you are able to find the right one and get into the archives we can direct you further on how to use the records.
We would love to assist you.

Thank you @Betseylee Browning I think it was Nizbor. I ran into the same issue. I think Neu Huette is the one I need. At least if the records are online I could browse through them to see if they are there, since I already have dates.
