Christening Date - Movable Feast Day

I'm not an expert at Movable Feast Date. I just want someone to double-check my work.

I found a birth record in Norway for Ole with his father Tarald Svisdal on line 17. I believe it says the Movable Feast Date is the same date as the above birth record. Looking at a Movable Feast Date for 1785 I think it says the 14th Sunday after Trinity (Dominica Trinitatis) which is August 28th. Can someone confirm or help me if I'm wrong? Thanks!

Yes, the lline for Ole says ib: which is short for ibid. which is short for ibidem which is latin for ditto, or "same as the entry just preceding here" which is this case is 14. Dom. a Trin or 14. Dominica after Trinitas.

My favorite site for Norwegian named Sunday and Feast Days (all of them, not just the movable ones) is: https://dinslekt.no/ (Yes, you get a funny "I'm not a robot" check. Just proceed on.) Use the Kirkelige Høytider tab. For 1785 you will see:

Using the Din Slekt site, you will quickly become an expert in these dates.

Just as a side note, like to enter dates that are just named as they are in the parish register to that other's can quickly see that the month and day are my conversion and double check it if they want to, so they know the words to look for in the original record, and so they can have the fun of learning about this old system of naming days.

You can enter these in Family Tree by first entering the converted date of 28 August 1785 and selecting it from the drop down menu then going back and adding the extra date information. This time click on the red text in the first line of the drop down menu to preserve what you have typed. This will not change the standard linked to your full text. Since there are numbers in the named date, the program has a little trouble parsing out what you type if you do not do this in the correct order.

This is perfectly acceptable to the Family Tree program, does not change how the date is used in the various functions of the program at all, and add the richness of history to our family records.
