Alswede baptismal record 1707 - Latin dates?
Found 2 baptisms on the same date. Here is my best guess, but would love some corrections and especially how to decipher the date of baptism (perhaps a recommendation for a resource that helps with these Latin dates?).
1707
XXX
#45 Johan Schapers aus den Lashorst ? ?
Do you think these are two different fathers or the same one?
Thank you so much!

I hope I can solve one mystery, at least. The first phrase that you've highlighted in the second entry is "von seiner Frauen." It's using an old spelling of Frau, with a "w" instead of a "u." Compare this to entry 23 on the previous page where it lists an unmarried woman as the mother of the child. And then also look at entry 27, where it spells out "seiner."

Hello @Jenealogy,
The last recognizable date in the middle column on the right-hand page before the "XXX" is: Dominica IX. This is likely the 9th Sunday after Trinity, which in 1707 would be 21 August.
It would be helpful to see what the dates are on the next page of this register. Can you post an image of the following page?
Thank you.

Hello @Jenealogy
Re: your question: Do you think these are two different fathers or the same one?
I think these are two different fathers for the following reason:
In record 45, the father is from Lashorst.
In record 46, the father is from Gestringen.
These two locales are about five miles apart, with Lashorst to the west of Gestringen.

All of your answers have been so helpful!
I did find a great calendar with the feast days: https://www.slaktingar.se/historisk-kalender/1720
It's so smart to look at the 2 men and see that they are from relatively different villages - thus two different families. I will keep this in mind as I continue my research.
