On the date July 2nd, 1715, the wife of Thore Berrigsbache is "Introduced" back to church after giving birth. Is the wife always listed or could Marthe bergier be a proxy. The wife of Thore Berrigsbache is Ragnild Olsdatter. Please clarify. Thank you very much. Diane

I would assume it is always the mother of the child listed.

This early the name of the wife is usually not listed, however in this record it states that Thore Berrigsbache's Gbr (farmer's) wife Marthe [of] berrig. is introduced. If listed it will always be the wife, never a proxy.
