Shalom Samuel Galper or Halper- Last name was Galper in Ukraine - it might have changed in Baku to Halper - which is what has been passed down to me.

He moved to Baku probably around 1915. There is a Business address for him in Odessa in 1912. A cousin told me "Shalom died in Bacu, Kafkaz after World War I but before 1920"

Do you have resources to find death certificates?? I would LOVE that. or even recommend someone I could pay for the info,
