Thank you, but I am looking specifically for anything related to the 1400's. I have a land record that shows a grandfather handing down land to the great great grandson, for the first recorded land ownership. There are no records in between. The great great grandson was born in 1415. The great great great grandfather lived from about 1240-1300. This was in Wiltshire, England. Not sure how to find any further information. Thank you in advance.

This is the only place I found that has records starting in the early to mid-1400 You can sign up for news and events. However, presently there is no online web search available. I do not know what services are offered by them. They are located in the UK. this is their website that has more information. https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
I would recommend connecting to a tree in the UK and contacting them to see if you could share information. that is how I got a lot of information for my wife's line.
Thank you so much for keeping the site updated on your efforts so we all can learn .

The 1400s pre-dates parish registers so, unless you are dealing with noble families, you are unlikely to find any records.

Have you visited the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre website at https://wshc.org.uk/? There is a "Contact us" link on the Home page, providing email details, etc.
I did a search on "Smith" and "1400" from the Catalogue section - see
I imagine the material held for the fifteenth century must be rather limited, but must include probate records. My research at both Essex and Suffolk Record Offices has led me to find a number of wills from the 1400s, as they (and some other older documents) are likely to be held locally rather than at the National Archives.
