Are these two Friedrich Michael Klein's in the same family?
Friedrich Michael Conrad Klein GXXK-J5B is born 20 April 1867. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPPG-C2NY
His next sibling is Friedrich Michael Klein GXXK-SLF is born 13 Sep 1868. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPPG-37JN
I know the early Germans and others sometimes renamed the next child the same name if the first dies, but according to their family records on FS the first Friedrich Michael Conrad, it is he who lives and marries. My further research to see if there is a death record for either came up with a blank for the next 8-10 years in their birth town.
I wondered if they really were in the same family and if there is something I am missing on their birth/christening records? Does 'Conrad' differentiate the first child enough to rename another almost the same?
Thanks for your insights!

They are indeed brothers. They even have the same baptismal sponsors listed. The family register has the whole family listed including both brothers (both reached adulthood).
In the family register Conrad is underlined for the first and Friedrich is partially underlined for the second. So I assume the first was called Conrad and the second was called Friedrich.

I've often seen a third given name to distinguish a child from a sibling or cousin. It's good that you have the original, because the Family Search index rarely includes all three given names.
