Translation:
No. of marriage 1.
Day of marriage: January 5th
The bachelor Claus Kährs inhabitant in Reinsbüttel, legitimate son of the late Claus Kährs, deceased there and his wife Gretje née Süderlan.
With Wiebke Franzen, legitimate daughter of the late Carsten Franzen, deceased in Pahlen and his wife Wiebke née Groth.
The bride, who stayed for some years with her brother-in-law Sam[uel?] Matth[ias?] Hartnack at Reinsb[üttel], had satisfied the punishments imposed as church penance because of fornication, see: Deprec: Register. This couple was married in the pastorate at their request after a concession given by the highest authority for house copulation without previous engagement. See Proclamation given Copenhagen, 30 Dec: 1786.
To the concession, which I marked with a product(?) and returned, was added the condition that the marriage would not be opposed by any legal obstacles, which circumstance the wedding pastor must bring to certainty by formal witnesses, or at best by a written oath, if this couple does not belong to his community. Also, churches and school officials shall not be deprived of their entitlements. Also for betrothed would have to be paid. The two oath certificates and the At-Home-certificate(?) are found as enclosures Sub N: 1. 2. & 3.

Thank you very much! Very interesting as I have not seen anything like this church penance before. Thank you, Ulrich Neitzel.
