"Posthumous" Written after a Child's Name on Baptism Record?
Please help translate this baptism record for Friedrich Carl Apel. I don't understand what the "posthumous" refers to which is written after the child's name. Does it mean the child died and the baptism was performed after his death? or does it mean the father had died before the child was born or something different? What other information is given in the record. Thank you!

Hello @Cynth R,
In this record the word "posthumus" indicates that this male child was born after the death of his father.
There are no column headings provided in the screen shot and I am unable to view the link you provided so I will approximate what I think each column heading is:
Record number: 76.
Child: Friedrich Carl, born after the death of his father.
Birth date: 22 August ["22" is written out in words and as a number].
Time of birth: early at 1:00 am.
Legitimate or Illegitimate: legitimate.
Father: the late Heinrich Friedrich Apel, formed disabled miner here.
Mother: wife (or Mrs.) Sophie Dorothee Amalie, née Ludwig. [Written below the "Father" and "Mother" columns: Evangelical Lutheran, which refers to both parents.]
Place of baptism?:"'ibid" = in the same place.
Baptismal date: 24 August.
