What citation information is needed to access an image at a Family History Center?
Since most or all Family History Centers are closed right now, I'm gathering many records in my "source box" that I would like to view in the future. I'm concerned that I won't have adequate detail to find the relevent document/image. Can you offer any guidance or best practice for gathering and organizing this detail so I can be well prepared and make the most of my research? Many thanks!

If you are placing the, "Sources"; and/or, "Images", in Your "Source Box"; IF, you CANNOT access the "Images" at 'Home'; THEN, you should be able to access the "Images" at a "Family History Centre" of the Church (when they are OPEN again - after this worldwide COVID-19 pandemic is over), DIRECTLY from Your "Source Box".
.
That is provided that there is not a Very "High" Level of Restriction on them; so that, they are not even accessible through FHCs.
.
By the way ... you can "Attached" them to those individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch", to which you believe/feel that apply, and, access them DIRECTLY from the individuals/persons "Sources" 'Tab'; IF (ie. provided that), you use "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".
.
I hope this helps.

can your provide a specific example of a case you are referring to?
Im not real savvy on use of the source box
but anything in the Catalog will have a URL you can copy
and anything in the FS Record section allows you to click on "view original document' and then copy and paste a URL.
both of these would allow you to copy and paste to a reference document the URL links for whatever you wanted to and be able to reference and see later
see this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCYP0mPeDoU
it can be applied t o copying and pasting from FamilySearch to a WORD document for example.
(the video is not specific to FS - but the principle is the same)
(. . . .But maybe Im not understanding exactly the source box )

Here are two examples of record references in my source box on FamilySearch.org
Would these be adequate to view the image at a FHC? Thanks!

and right there on that attachment is the web link to the item
so Im still confused - what it is you are trying to accomplish
you can always go back to those links and see the item
Im confused

Now what items you can see at a FHC and what items you cant - may not be a straightforward answer
it may be "it depends" on the item. . . .
it depends on how the access is limited for that specific item- which could vary from one item to another.

Now if the question is how to keep track of stuff you want to go back and check on
you could create some sort of WORD document - with these web links and thats how you could keep track of the ones you wanted to back and recheck - in such a research log.

Dennis, in the second example it shows some images require me to view them at a FHC or an affiliate library. I assume that means that the information there is adequate for me to view the records when I'm on site but I want to be sure. I hope that helps make it more clear. It might be such a basic question that it seems more confusing than it is. Thanks for your help.

certain items can only be seen at the FHL is Salt Lake, other items can be seen at FHL and the local FHC, other items can be seen no matter where you are - even from you home.
were you the one who originally created these source citations?? if so where were yo at at the time?
how did you originally access the item?

In this case, the records can be accessed at a FHC or Affiliate Library. The message in the image you posted makes it very clear.
But this is not true for every record. Some records can't be viewed at an Affiliate Library. For others you need to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

once you do go to the family history center - you should be able to just use those source links on the source record to access the image/record
