Please help with the translation of the birth record of Elisabetha Schoening.
Specifically, what does it say in the column for the status of the father and the comments after the godparents' names.

Hello @BillRostal,
(1) Status of the father: because this child is illegitimate, what is written in this column is the occupation of the mother: "famula" = servant, maid.
(2) The godfather is: Ferdinand Johlke _ött_erg__? [this appears to be a surname rather than an occupation].
The godmother is: Marianna Litke, uxor [= wife].

I think the word after Ferdinand Johkle's name is Böttcherges[ell], meaning journeyman cooper.

I considered Böttcherges[ell] but discarded it for the following reasons:
(1) No other male baptismal sponsor has an occupation recorded on this page except for the last entry which looks like "inq"? for perhaps "inquilinus".
(2) The entire page is written in Latin so why would this one occupation be written in German?
(3) I don't see a "c" after the double "tt".
What do you think?

To me, the Böttcherges[ell] looks like it was written in afterwards - it's not the same handwriting as the rest of the page. So maybe this was added later to distinguish Ferdinand from some other person? Without a link to the original page, it's difficult to say definitively. You're right that it doesn't look like there's a "c" in there, and c ase could be made that the "h" is actually an "s" instead. Perhaps a look at other records for Ferdinand would give a clue.

Thanks, @sylviaelchinger1 for your input. I see what you mean about the word being written in at a later date, which might explain why the word was written in German.
