Help with some problem words in an Alsatian 1799 birth record
I was able to work out most of this record, but have a number of niggling words bolded below I need help with please!
- Nanten forWandan: looks to be an administrative location that I have been able to identify yet, but not that critical for me
- beide -- fits, but don't see the 'i', so just want to confirm
- Het ier - no clue what this is. Possibly one word?
- indergeborenen - should mean 'gave birth' or something similar, but would like to confirm the 'geborenen' part and figure out the 'inder' part, which I could not find
- Nammen - Should be Nammen, but seems to have more letters
- fubaich Teas - no idea
- Nbewoht - ?
- Oeo aufgesetzt - aufgesetzt as 'insincere' doesn't make sense; can't read the first world
- beden - not sure

Hello @Tom Randolph,
Nanten forWandan = Kanton Fort Vauban
kanton = canton = a political jurisdictional subdivision in Napoleonic France.
See the following link for Runzenheim: http://cassini.ehess.fr/fr/html/fiche.php?select_resultat=30059 and under the heading "Administration ancienne" note that Runzenheim was in the canton of "Fort Louis" from 1793 to 1801.
Here is the link for Fort-Louis from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort-Louis
Fort-Louis was constructed by Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban. Also see on the accompanying map how close Runzenheim is to Fort-Louis.

You're welcome, @Tom Randolph. This was very interesting about the fortifications built on the French border by Vauban. I learned something new today ansd that's always good.

Nanten forWandan - actually, the first word there is Kanton, i.e. an administrative district that was introduced under Napoleon's rule. The second part looks like "Fort Nanban" or "Fort Naubau" or something like that, but looking in Meyer's Gaz, the only nearby place with a Fort in the name was Fort Louis. According to Meyer's, Rountzenheim is part of Kanton Bischweiler. I looked at several of the other records on this page in the Bas-Rhin archives, and they all said the same thing. Googling "Fort Nanban" and variations produced no useful results either.

Thanks for sorting those, @Ulrich Neitzel ! With those tips on letters, I was finally able to read the place name as Canton Fort-Vauban, which is usually called Fort-Louis, but I saw was built by Vauban, so les Citoyens probably reverted to calling it Fort-Vauban during that period. And curious that I don't remember niedergekommen coming up when I asked for the German equivalent of 'give birth'. Much appreciated!

@Robert Seal_1 , thanks for the additional information! I had worked out the Fort-Vauban, but didn't have all of the back story on it. Good references!

Thanks @sylviaelchinger1 -- I had incorrectly adopted Canton rather than Kanton, so have corrected that now. Please see @Robert Seal_1 's comment above -- he shares some references for the Fort Vauban name that we discovered as the solution.
