Question on wife's last name,etc
Hello,
I have a taufe record from Switzerland, Bern, Gsteig bei Interlaken. The year is 1702.
Anna Bischoff -Father Hans Bischoff and Mother is Anna ?? This last name is not familiar to me
Anna was born in Wilderswil, Berne.
I will attach her brother Hans record as well to maybe help with the mother's last name.

I am sorry to say - but you seem to have completely misunderstood my suggestion.
In a previous posting you wrote "I will not forget next time to move the question to discussion format". The way this community is used, it doesn't really matter if you post a "question" or a "discussion". I had proposed a structure for question/discussion TITLES - so one sees immediately what's the type of question - and when looking back later the posting can be easily identified.
An appropriate title for your posting could have been "Gsteig bei Interlaken - baptism - 1702 - Bischoff - mother's name".
But now to your question: The name of Hans' mother is clearly Wälthi (today spelled Wälti). With that in mind I would read Welthi for Anna's mother: keep in mind that spellings were not really fixed at this time - and ä / e were frequently interchanged. Today Wälti is quite common in canton Bern - Welti is not - so I would go for Wälti as todays official spelling.
The parents marriage entry would be of interest: would hopefully give the bride's place of citizenship, which might answer the question Wälti / Welti.
