I read the child's surname as Lieber (more clearly seen in the name of the first witness). The surname of the mother is Reich.
Translation:
Today, 20 September 1874, was baptized in the Protestant church here by the undersigned pastor and in the presence of the witnesses 1. Katharina Lieber, daughter of Wilhelm Lieber, single, Protestant from here, 2. Margarethe Lintz, Protestant from here:

The birth of this child is registered in the birth register of the municipality of Edenkoben according to the certificate of the civil registrar of September 10 sent to the undersigned pastor.

Hello Carol,
the handwritimg of the pastor is partly hard to read, but the surname given for the bride is here clearly Sieber; she is the daughter of Jacob Sieber, forester (Waldhüter). The initial "S" is in both cases the classical current letter. In the birth record it can be a Latin script "S", although the loop at the bottom makes it look like an "L". (The name of the second witness can thus also be Sintz instead of Lintz)
The surname of the mother in the marriage record can be Reich (there is no visible i-dot though) with a cross behind, as a symbol that she is deceased.

Ulrich thank you for explaining this very difficult handwriting; I did not know how to read those surnames. I appreciated your care in translation.
