Latin Translation request for death records
I'm researching my genealogy using the records of St. Vincentius Parish in Haselünne, Germany from Matricula Online. I've found some records from 1779 that may be my relatives but I can't figure out what one of the words is. The records are written in Latin and I see the same word on several other records on the page in relation to the age of the deceased. Attached is a snippet of a couple of the records (with the word I'm struggling with highlighted) as well as a link to the records:
On the first record for Heinrich Witte I'm thinking it says "in the year above ? (Anno atatis supra ???)
The 3rd record down for Anna Maria Witte(n) again it appears to me to be Anno atatis ? (which google translate says is "in the year of his death ??)
I'd appreciate confirmation of what I'm thinking it says as well as the particular highlighted word.
Thank you,
Darlene Bills

Hello @darlenegaylebills1
I read the phrase "Anno aetatis supra 60mo" as: in the year of his/her age above the 60th = he/she was above the age of 60.
The highlighted word is the abbreviated ordinal number: 60mo =sexagesimo = 60th.
The third record down translates as: in the 60th year of her age.

@Robert Seal_1 Thank you! The 6 looks different from the other 6's in the records so it was throwing me for a loop. 😁
Do you know it it is common for them to state "above the 60th year"? I see a lot of the records that use that language not only on this page but throughout the records in this time frame.
Thank you.

You're welcome, Darlene. It seems to be the way this particular scribe in this particular area prefers to record the ages of the deceased.
