Belomestnov family from Borzia
I had a grandmother who was born in Borzia Russia but later migrated to Shanghai and I am wanting to better understand how and where to search for her Geneology records in Borzia Russia. I understand she left Borzia with her cousins and friends who were horse trainers (one of whom was called George Sofronoff) to go to Harbin and later travelled on to Shanghai. I have only details taken from conversations with her but no real geneological sources.
Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated
