Translation assistance please
Sorry to ask again so soon but would appreciate assistance with translation of the following record which I believe is a marriage register of Josef Ludwigi Lutz and Maria Ana Lutz. Their record is on Line #2 under 1871. I have attached a copy of the record in case the link does not work.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Hello, I have this German record birth that I think the last name of the father, mother and child have been mis-indexed. I don't read German, but I can see a few things. I need to be clear on this before I move forward attaching the record. The record is indexed as Kranmeister, but to me it looks like Kornmesser. The child's name is indexed as Michael Carl Wilhelm August Kranmeister, Can you please verify one way or the other.
Thank you so much!

Please attach a link or copy of the record.
Please start a new discussion to avoid confusion. Also the attached image is very grainy. When you repost as a new discussion it would be best to attach a link to the document. It comes up much clearer in the familysearch link.

Hello Jane,
You attached your question to someone else's original request and it will most likely go unanswered.
To begin a new question please do the following:
(1) Go to the German Genealogy Research community home page.
(2) Scroll down to the section entitled "Discussions".
(3) To the right of the title "Discussions" is a blue box with the words "New Discussion".
(4) Click on the down arrow in this box and a drop-down menu will appear.
(5) Select "Ask A Question" and you will then be able to post your question or translation request.
In response to your original question:
You are correct: the surname in this record is: Kornmesser.

Robert - I was not aware of the additional family information on this record. THANK YOU for calling that out. Would you be so kind as to translate the info for those two people as well: Marriage 4 (1870) and marriage 1 (1871)
Sincere thanks for all your help!!!

Hello @Pam Proctor,
It is preferred that you post your two translation requests for record no. 4 (1870) and record no. 1 (1871) each separately as two new requests to the German Genealogy Research community at large. By doing so all members of the community can see your requests and assist you with the translations.
Sincerely, Robert Seal_1

Not a misstep at all, Pam. But when you attach a new request to a previous post that has already been answered, it's highly likely that the new request will be missed by the community because the original post it is attached to looks "answered" in the queue. Also, the new request only goes to the person(s) who answered your original request. Those persons may not have the time to answer the new post in a timely manner due to other commitments. It's always best to post each request as a new request to give the entire community the opportunity to assist you in your research.
Best regards, Robert Seal_1
