Want to check if I have this right
With the help you have been providing me, I am now making good progress on my own. Thanks! I still have some that I am not fully confident about, so would like to check in and see if I am capturing the key information correctly. Do I have the information about the bride's parents correct for this record for Georg Peter Singer's marriage in 1856 in Obersülzen? I read it as: mit der: Sibilla Schmidt, prot: Conf: zu Obersülzen wohnhoft, Tochter von den in Obersülzen verstorbenen Ehe= und Schmiedsleuter Christian Schmidt und der Elisabetha Weilbrenner. And translate it as: with Sibilla Schmidt, Protestant faith, residing at Obersülzen, Daughter of the couple of blacksmith folk of the late Christian Schmidt and Elisabetha Weilbrenner of Obersülzen. Is that fair? It isn't clear to me whether Elisabetha née Weilbrenner is still alive, though.

Hello Tom,
you did very well with the transcription and translation.
The German phrase "Tochter von den in Obersülzen verstorbenen Ehe= und Schmiedsleuten" is difficult to reproduce in English; what it means is she is the daughter of the married couple - both deceased - who [lived and] died in Obersülzen and had a blacksmith shop there (it was surely only the father who was a blacksmith).

That's correct, @Tom Randolph .

Thanks @Ulrich Neitzel ! Would the Ehe= mean then that 'leuten' applies to both Ehe and Schmieds, i.e. verstorbenen Eheleuten und Schmiedsleuten?
