Marriage in small Japanese villages
I am trying to find any all leads to figure out my adopted Japanese daughter in laws family. Her family lived in a small village along the bay just a few miles north of Aomori city. The grandfather bought a house there in 1948. So being a small village is it likely his family has lived there for some time? Is it likely the grandmother may have moved into the area just before this time? At least one daughter was born in 1945. I believe people living in small villages tend to marry outsiders? Does anyone know of any migration trends that happen say 1880 to now?
Thanks Alan

Thanks PABulfinch.
I think this may be more specific to Japanese culture.
I feel I know the answers, but I have been wrong many times in the past. I also found a record of someone with the same last name across the road from the grandfather, Maybe he is a brother?
I also mapped where the DNA cousins lived and it shows part of the family came from the south. My daughter in laws Haplogroup shows the main concentration is also in the south.
Just a few more tid bits of random info if it helps.
Thanks Alan
