Help with Marriage Record, please
Could someone help me with the attached marriage record, #9 on the right side? To start I just need to know the parties in the marriage, not the other details. This section of the marriages is not indexed and is in complete longhand, and I'm stuggling to find the parties!
There is an index on image 73, but that is for the images that follow.
If it's not too much to ask, if someone with better german could scan (look through) images 62-72? Besides the image 9, I am looking for the marriage of Johann Nickel Koenig and Magdalena Seibert of Gonnesweiler in 1800. This range is in republican year 9, which covers part of 1800 and does seem to have Gonnesweiler records (I can read that much of it!)
Thank you sooooo much for your help - and if you can't look through all of images 62-72, could you give me a hint on locating the names of the bride and groom?

Hello @shericaringer1,
The groom in record 9 is: Andreas Ball.
The bride in record 9 is: Anna Maria Kreutz.
The index on image 73 is, in fact, for the preceding 19 marriage records which come before the index. For example, in the index on image 73, the groom Andreas "Andres" Ball is the second entry in the index, his spouse is listed as Anna Maria "Kreuz" and the marriage record is identified as: no. 9.
Using the index on image 73 I did not find an entry in the index for Johann Nickel Koenig.
I also looked through all images 62-72 for a groom named Johann Nickel Koenig and did not find any groom with that name.
At least in the records I looked at, you'll find the words "Ehe zwischen" (which means: marriage between) in the second line of the record and immediately after these two words you will find the name of the groom.
FYI: This same marriage record for Andreas Ball and Anna Maria Kreutz is also written in French on this same film on image 95: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSVS-1QN3-C?i=94&cat=213081
Record no. 9 on the right hand page.

Robert,
Thank you so much for looking into this and also taking the time to browse the images and to give me more information! I had found that the index matched the records that follow but it hadn't occurred to me that it would also match those before and that they would be duplicated! Thanks for taking the time to clarify this. You have helped me on other translations in the past, and I always appreciate it so much. Thank you!!

You're welcome, @shericaringer1. I'm glad that I could help. This was an interesting question, a bit different from the usual translations requests, and it was my pleasure to review the records and provide you with an answer. I, too, have been recently working with records in an area of Germany that was under French control in the 1790s and early 1800s, and the records can be challenging to navigate.
