Help translating a Czech baptism record? It’s in German
Hi
Anyone up for translating a Czech record? It’s in German.
The image goes all the way across the page.
This could be my 2nd great-grandfather and add another two generations to my tree if his parents’ parents are listed.
Does anyone have a clue as to why Maria is crossed off? Died or illegitimate is my guess.
Thank you!!

Hello @Martha Murray ,
I assume you are interested in the record at the bottom of this page, correct?

Hi Ulrich
Oops! It's the Franz Josef at the bottom. The date is correct.
All I know is his mother was Maria. And he was born 8 Jun 1845. And the family comes from Tyniste Kutna Hora area.

Hi Martha
the child in the bottom row is born 1 May 1844 and called Franz Seraf - do you want this record translated?

Hi Ulrich
I was looking at 8 Jun 1845 in the big column after his name. Can you see his father's surname? It's the only record that came close. Sigh!

Hi Martha
8 January (Jänner) 1845 is the date of marriage of the parents; the boy was born premaritally.
