Translation:
[Married 11 November 1815:] the widower Friderich Hass of Selkenrade and Miss Christina Haas, legitimate daughter of Mars Haas, tenant farmer in Hasenberg, and of Dorthe born Kruse. The judicial(?) certificate that the groom and his children from his first marriage ? was given to me. Both [bride and groom] have had natural smallpox.*
*If someone had not had smallpox, they had to be vaccinated before being confirmed or married, so these records list whether someone had had smallpox or been vaccinated against it.
Did you write to an archive or the Giekau parish for a scan of this record? I don't see records from this parish online, so I'm curious which archive sent you a copy.

Thank you so much. I was looking for Friderich Hass, but he also has a sister Christina - so she married a Friderich Hass and this is actually her marriage record.
Giekau parish just came online at archion 3 days ago. I have been waiting a long time to get access to those records - so I am excited to start digging into them. I just need to get better at learning to read the German.
Thanks again,
Ann

That's wonderful the records are now online! I searched Archion for Giekau and nothing showed up (after your response, I googled Giekau Archion and found the link in the list of new additions); how odd. Hopefully they'll fix their place search soon, or perhaps it's just cookies from my computer messing with it.
The Namensregister (name indexes) are great places to look when the date of an event is unknown (I'm guessing that's how you found Christina's marriage record). There sure are a lot of people named Friedrich Hass! The one under entry 13 in 1822 has the same parents as Christina, so that is likely whom you're looking for: http://www.archion.de/p/b463e53dfc/
Translation: Married 9 November 1822: the bachelor Friederich Hass, legitimate son of Marx Hass, tenant farmer in Emkendorf, and of Dorothea born Kruse, and Antje Wunder, surviving widow of Detlev Wunder, who died in Oelbohm [Ölböhm].

I had been following Archion on Facebook and they announce new additions as they add them. That is the only reason why I knew.
Yes, I have been looking through the indexes and Hass seems to be a common name for sure. Thank you so much for finding Friederich's marriage record and for translating it. I appreciate it so much!
