Translation of death certificate 1919
Hello guys,
Attached are 2 pages which are almost identical- I can translate the clear handwriting but not the extra scribble added later. The additions look very uninteresting except for the addition of the date '1837' halfway down the page of document 1. Could someone offer an explanation of the scribbles (probably just bureaucrats from different departments adding their approval of the process) and whether that date is something more interesting. The person who died would be my grandmother's brother (I suspect) who was deported from England as an enemy alien in about 1916 and died in Berlin a couple of months after the end of the war. I'm presuming his family was making enquiries as to his death. There doesn't seem to be a cause of death or location of burial site. Hoping someone can help.
Many thanks,
Peter Crook

Hello @PeterCrook3
The remarks in the margin are additions that certify that Moritz Frühling went by a different name in England. The first remark states his English forename "Morris" while the second concerns his surname "Spring" - a direct translation of German "Frühling".
I am not sure about the number 1837 and if this is a date.

Thanks Ulrich, just a faint hope that it may be a reference to his parents DOB or something similar.
