Research in Germany
I am traveling from my home in California to Germany next week. Can anyone confirm if I will (or won't) have access to FamilySearch while I am in Germany? I plan to do some research in Solingen Archive and would like to have full access to the FamilySearch catalogues and databases that I have been using for the past few years. Have you been able to sign into your account while in Germany?

I used FamilySearch in Germany back in 2018. According to the Terms of Use, only in Japan do you need special permission to use FamilySearch. Everywhere else in the world, provided FamilySearch isn't censored by the government (e.g. Russia), anyone can access the website. There may be some restricted access films with different restrictions in different countries. There are lot of German Church records whose catalog entries talk of stricter rules applying in Germany and Europe compared to the rest of the world.

Thanks, @A van Helsdingen. I wonder about those restrictions.
If anyone is currently in Germany, could you try these links:

Link B: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?q.filmNumber=102662962 Index of records on one of the microfilms
